He has a first degree (BSc. Economics) from ABU Zaria, an executive certificate in Building Brands from the Lagos Business School (LBS)and an MBA from Businesschool Netherlands (BSN).
He is currently the CEO of the Nigeria Climate Innovation Center www.nigeriacic.org , an initiative of the Climate Technology Partnership program of the World Bank with the help of the Government of Nigeria and support of the Enterprise Development Center (EDC) of the Lagos Business School focusing on the growth of a viable green economy in Nigeria. Bankole was the founding Incubation Center Manager/Innovation Lead of Enspire Business Incubator www.enspire.org.ng , a technology focused business incubation centre under the Abuja Technology Village. He is also the Founder of Network of Incubators and Innovators in Nigeria (NINe) www.nine.org.ng ; In 2018, he was appointed a Member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Technology and Creativity and early 2021, he was appointed the Honorary Consul to the Government of Finland in Nigeria.
