Joshua Palfreman is a waste management, recycling and ocean plastics specialist with sound knowledge of integrated solid waste management planning, technology and infrastructure design, municipal service planning, and market systems development. Joshua holds over fifteen years of professional experience and direct entrepreneurial venture and capital investments into plastic recycling and organics waste recovery businesses across East, Southern and West Africa. Joshua currently works for the World Bank Group, UNEP and DAI, as well as in a personal capacity. He is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
