Loreley Picourt is the Executive Director of the Ocean & Climate Platform (OCP). As a strong advocate for multilateral cooperation, she works at the science-policy interface for a better integration of the ocean-climate-biodiversity nexus into decision-making. At the UNFCCC, Loreley is the ‘Ocean and Coastal Zones’ focal point for the Marrakech Partnership-Global Climate Action Agenda, and the Ocean Taskforce Lead for the Sharm el Sheikh Action Agenda. She is also part of the Specialized Group of Experts on Ocean of the Nairobi Work Programme on adaptation.
Loreley holds an MSc in Environmental Policy from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Environmental Economics from the University of York.
