Shayle Ravera is an environmental and community development specialist with over 10 years’ experience designing, managing, and evaluating environmental and community-based programmes across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Her work focuses on fostering meaningful intercultural engagement and building partnerships that advance sustainable development.

She has extensive experience in training and capacity development for students and professionals in Service Learning, Environmental Conservation, Community Development, and Sustainability. Her professional background includes collaboration with governmental and non-governmental agencies in areas such as health and safety best practice, child protection, impact monitoring, curriculum design, and international outreach.

She is currently completing her PhD at Trinity College Dublin, where her research explores affective cross-sector partnerships that promote sustainable development. She brings both academic insight and field-based expertise to her work and is committed to strengthening collaborative approaches that support resilient communities and ecosystems.
