Partners in Transformation

SpecialitySession Sponsor

Partners in Transformation is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) that brings together private sector actors and development organisations to advance sustainable economic development globally. The programme serves as an umbrella for Germany’s international efforts to strengthen collaboration between business, government, and development partners.

The initiative focuses on fostering inclusive, climate-conscious growth by supporting partnerships that combine the innovation and investment capacity of businesses with development expertise. Through these collaborations, Partners in Transformation promotes job creation, technology transfer, and the development of sustainable value chains in partner countries.

Operating across multiple regions, the programme supports a wide range of projects—from small enterprises to multinational partnerships—aimed at addressing global challenges such as poverty, climate change, and economic inequality. By aligning private sector activity with development priorities, Partners in Transformation contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals while strengthening long-term economic resilience.
