Quality, creativity and establishing real connections are the golden thread through my life and business ventures. After graduating with Honours in Industrial Design in 2010 and spending nine months travelling and working through the US and Mexico, I established Jasper Eales Original in 2012. It’s a small-scale product design firm, focusing on things like functional, yet aesthetically pleasing surfboard storage and display systems, beach bats and flat packable laptop stands, to
name a few.

In 2015 I co-founded Sealand Gear, which creates environmentally smart high-end bags, accessories and apparel. At Sealand, all our products are made by human hands; we see our “flaws” as our greatest strength. We reuse the structural properties and textures of waste material in a new context while mitigating the generation of waste and promoting sustainability.

I am an honest and motivated entrepreneur, known to be a reliable, hard working person, with a positive approach to life. I am passionate about good design, sustainability, ncreative thinking, and the outdoors.

I’m privileged to live and work in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – where I can surf, mountainbike, foil and spend time with my beautiful family.
