Johannes Bochdalofsky was born, raised and educated in Germany, then emigrated to South Africa in 2007. He furthered his studies in marine and coastal engineering, PM certification as well as professional IMCAclass II diver and has worked and lived in the Middle East, Africa and Europe and additionally worked on projects in the US, including Alaska. He is an Out of the box thinker, able to apply technologies and lessons learned from other industries and used to managing large non-standard EPC projects in diverse teams. Johannes is the founder of SeaH4, a startup which adapts existing aquafarming and biogas technologies to generate biofuels from farmed algae – investing in South Africa’s goal of net-zero CO2 emissions and rural community development.
