Kate is an independent advisor on inclusive tourism development; the green, blue and low carbon economy. She has held positions within private sector consultancies, national government, at a DFI, and has served as an advisor to a national Minister. Kate holds an Mphil in Sustainable Development Planning and Management cum laude.
In 2020 and 2021 work assignments have been on ‘decent work and tourism’, ‘blue and green economy SMMEs in SADC’, economic planning for tourism in Lesotho, Botswana and the Red Sea, and writing a book chapter, amongst others.
